Sana Mohiuddin earned her Masters in Marital and Family Therapy from Northeastern Illinois University. She is trained in family therapy, couples counseling and individual client-centered therapy and enjoys working within all three modalities. She believes that often our current circumstances are directly affected by the systems we have going on in our lives and believes that exploring this with her clients leads to discoveries and gradual changes. Sana works with her clients on setting goals and working toward them with support and encouragement. She utilizes a variety of approaches depending on the clients needs and expectations. She mainly works from a family systems and client-centered approach using cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing. She specializes in individual, couples and family therapy and can help to address couple/family interaction, depression, anxiety, stress management, family dynamics, divorce, and grief/loss. Sana believes that everyone is possible of change and sometimes we need a little help to get to where we need to be.
