Reaching out for help and support is not easy for anyone. Michael sees the counseling relationship as a collaborative process where we work together to identify and achieve your goals. He has helped many clients individually and in small groups who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and substance abuse issues. He has also worked with individuals dealing with a variety of general life stressors like work-life balance, school difficulties, personal relationships, self-esteem, family and transitional/life challenges. Michael has assisted many clients to realize new patterns of behavior and positive beliefs with improved self-confidence.
His eclectic experience adheres to a holistic approach to mental, emotional, and spiritual health. He is sensitive to personal, cultural, social needs, backgrounds and values, and his goal is to support young adults, adults, families and couples to find lasting recovery and balance in their lives. He enjoys working with each client individually to match their treatment needs and desired changes with the method of treatment that works best for them. Michael also believes in adapting his therapy style to the needs of each client.
