Logan Hamel, MA, LPC, completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Adrian College and her Master’s Degree in Counseling with a Specialization in Sport and Health Psychology at Adler University in Chicago. She is provisionally certified by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology and is certified in Yoga-Informed Psychotherapy.
Logan’s clinical experience has been with children, adolescents, and adults with eating disorders, anxiety and OCD. She also works with competitive and non-competitive athletes hoping to improve on their mental and physical performance. Her goal in the therapeutic process is to help clients feel confident, grounded, and balanced in their lives. Utilizing her background in yoga-informed psychotherapy, Logan incorporates yoga and mindfulness into her approach, along with other therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Logan’s therapeutic process is rooted in positive psychology focusing on the client’s strengths and values. Logan offers a warm and empathetic therapeutic space while also challenging clients to take the lead in accomplishing their goals.
