Katie Wargin | LPC, SAC-IT
Katie Wargin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Substance Abuse Counselor In-Training with a passion for helping individuals struggling with a variety of life stressors and mental health issues. With experience in therapy for substance use, anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, grief, disordered eating, personality disorders, and more, Katie is skilled in collaborating with clients to identify and utilize their values and strengths. She is committed to helping clients gain self-compassion and confidence throughout their healing process.
Katie utilizes a variety of modalities, including person-centered therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, to empower clients to achieve their goals. Recognizing the importance of community support and respecting each person’s unique and diverse background, she takes a multicultural and trauma-informed approach to her therapy and is an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. Katie works with adults in individual, couples, and family counseling settings, both in-person and virtually.
