Jamie-Lyn Palama


Jamie-Lyn Palama is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. She has worked in many levels of care including outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, inpatient, detox, as well as facilitating residential admissions. She understands that everyone is unique and experiences life differently and wants her clients to be actively involved in their treatment. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for the client to work on their goals. She believes that everyone deserves a chance to be heard and feel listened to.

Jamie uses many different treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solutions Focused Therapy and Trauma Informed Care. She has had previous experience working with individuals from a variety of age groups and walks of life including children, adolescents and adults. Other areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, Autism, drug/alcohol addiction, stress management, self-esteem issues, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, school behavior issues, and relationship issues.
