Catherine Dupar Skelly | LCSW
Catherine D. Skelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with adults, children, couples, and families in various settings including private practice, inpatient and IOP programs, therapeutic child day treatment, government and community-based programs. Cathy practices from an insight oriented, cognitive behavioral perspective. She integrates methodologies and techniques of cognitive behavioral, interpersonal and psychodynamic therapies to offer a personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works to create a safe and trusting environment for individuals to share their thoughts and feelings. Cathy’s areas of practice include grief, depression, anxiety, addiction, post-traumatic stress, relationship challenges and fertility issues. She has also worked extensively with those impacted by adoption/foster care, domestic violence, and trauma. Additional areas of specialty include individuation issues in young adulthood, families affected by divorce, and relationships between adolescents and their parents.
