DBT Adolescent Coping Skills-101

DBT Coping Skills-101 is a group for teens who want to learn skills to help manage intense emotions, decrease impulsive behaviors and increase positive relationships with others.

The DBT group might be right for your teen if they:

  • Feel overwhelmed by intense emotions
  • Struggle in relationships with others
  • Use unhealthy behaviors to manage emotions
  • Struggle with communicating needs to others
  • Are the center of family conflict and tension

DBT Adolescent Coping Skills-102

Thursdays: 6 pm to 7 pm

DBT Coping Skills-102 is for teens that have completed the DBT-101 group and want to continue to grow their skill sets. We will work on skills that will assist your teen on improving their relationships, change old behavior patterns and decrease overall conflict.

  • Feel overwhelmed in general
  • Struggle in relationships with others
  • Desire a change in unhealthy behaviors
  • Struggle with communicating their needs
  • Are often the center of conflict and tension

If you are not a current client of Red Oak Counseling, an initial assessment may be required to determine group readiness. Please note there is an additional fee for this assessment, if needed.
