Adolescent DBT Coping Skills
DBT Coping Skills- is a group for teens who want to learn skills to help manage intense emotions, decrease impulsive behaviors and increase positive relationships with others. The group will focus on learning ways to change unwanted behaviors, emotions, thoughts and events that may cause distress.
The DBT group might be right for your teen if they:
- Feel overwhelmed by intense emotions
- Struggle in relationships with others
- Use unhealthy behaviors to manage emotions
- Struggle with communicating needs to others
- Are the center of family conflict and tension

Group facilitated by: Leslie Clark, LPC, CSAC, CIR
This is a closed group format, meaning that material in each session is important to the following group sessions. Please contact the group facilitator prior to joining, if there are scheduling concerns that may prevent full participation in the 14-week course.

Parents may consider joining the Family Support: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group which runs concurrently with the adolescent group. This group is intended to inform parents, caregivers, and loved ones how to support their family members utilizing DBT skills.
