Sue Kalensky, LPC, NCC, Addiction Specialist has 19 years of experience and possesses a strong passion for working with clients who struggle with addictions. Sue cares deeply for the well-being of her clients and will walk beside you every step of the way, but will hold you accountable for your recovery. Her open and honest approach also works well for clients dealing with issues of infidelity, co-parenting, and sexual orientation. Sue currently has two AODA groups running. Roxanne Guenther, LCSW, Addiction Specialist, CIR is drawn to work with those individuals who have the desire to change, but find it difficult to do so. She works well with those who suffer from addictions, relationship concerns, communication issues, anger control, and those needing life coaching. Roxanne has worked extensively with members of the military and their families on issues related to deployment, reintegration, and trauma. She has an affinity for corporate training and educational seminars and is well known in the community as a presenter, life coach, and trainer for employees on a number of topics including communication skills, stress management, wellness and life balance. Anne Warchol is an energetic presenter who understands that learning occurs in group interaction more than in slide driven lectures. Her interactive style and ability to incorporate humor into presentations has engaged many audiences. Anne has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Her experience in a wide variety of topics allows her to cover many topics and her warm approach will motivate and educate your group.
Margaret Bayer, LCSW, utilizes a strengths based approach and brings a healthy sense of humor to working with clients. Cognitive strategies play an important role in her practice, particularly in the treatment of depression and anxiety. Other specialty areas included; Chronic illness, grief, older adult issues and substance abuse. Margaret understands that entering counseling can be scary at first, but reassures people that talking openly about problems is the first step. She is accepting new clients for individual counseling and also co- facilitating an alcohol and drug treatment group.
Mary Smits, LCSW, Addiction Specialist, CIR has an innate ability to work with traumatized clients and those struggling with addiction. She is very effective in helping clients through their healing and recovery processes. She brings to the client an understanding and insight which serve as a catalyst for personal change and self-acceptance. Mary works with the military and their families. Mary's specialties are trauma, grief and loss, couples counseling, men and women's issues, relationships, addictions and issues related to military deployment and reintegration.
Carol Mattner, LPC, CSAC, ICS has many years of experience working with addictions and those impacted by its effects. Carol also has a passion for working with children and has the ability to join with them in a caring way. She has the know-how to guide them through their problems and teach life skills to promote healthy growth and development. Carol's current focus is primarily military work, so her private practice is limited.
