Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What can I expect from therapy?

Answer: Your program will begin with a comprehensive

assessment to address your concerns and to determine your

desires for treatment. All of our programs are confidential

and designed to incorporate your desires while fostering growth

from the direction of our advanced trained therapists. The length or

time of treatment will be determined by you and your therapist.

Question: Who will I be meeting with?

Answer: All of the staff at Red Oak Counseling are licensed

professionals specializing in mental health and AODA issues.

We will ask you a few questions when you contact the

clinic and assign you a therapist based on your

needs, times available and their specialized training.

Question: How often will we meet, and for how long?

Answer: All programs are designed with your needs in mind.

However, we find that most clients benefit from at least two sessions

per month. The intake process and initial assessment can take up

to 1.5 hours to complete, thereafter individual

sessions are 50 minutes in length.

Question: How much will it cost, and can I use insurance?

Answer: There are a few options for payment. We offer a

complimentary benefits check on your insurance so you know what

to expect. From there our Office Manager will call with the results and

answer any questions you may have. If you do not have insurance

and are interested in therapy, please call us today and we can tell

you about our other payment options.

Question: Am I able to speak with my potential therapist?

Answer: Absolutely! We offer a 15 minute consultation which

can be done either on the phone or in person.
